Overall objective: To contribute to the strengthening of AAFEBEN's organizational capacities.

Specific objective:

  1. Clarify AAFEBEN's strategy for the next 5 years.
  2. Strengthen AAFEBEN's capacity to communicate effectively.
  3. Strengthen AAFEBEN's material and logistical capacities.

Expected results:

  • An operational strategy for the next 5 years and a gender policy are developed.
  • A communication strategy is developed and a website is created.
  • AAFEBEN's material and logistical capacities are improved.
    • In the long term, this will make it possible to:
  • Increase AAFEBEN's credibility as a local organization in light of the strategic and policy documents obtained.
  • Increase the visibility of the work that AAFEBEN does on the ground, as well as the results obtained.
  • Highlight and increase public interest in the derivatives of NTFPs processed by the women's cooperatives that AAFEBEN supports. A tab on the website will be specifically dedicated to publishing in real time the prices, quantities, and types of products in stock at these cooperatives.
  • Boost the efficiency and effectiveness of staff by working in a serene and healthy environment through a system that guarantees comfort and without frequent power cuts as is currently the case.
